Teen Advisory
Teen Advisory
What is Teen Advisory? It's a way for you to connect with the library and make your voice heard. It's a chance to see your ideas and opinions come to life. It's an easy way to earn volunteer credit by attending monthly meetings. Teen advisory groups plan and run library programs, choose book displays, decide which books and other materials to add to the library's collection, and more!
Who should join Teen Advisory? Anyone in grades 5-12! Especially people who like the library and have ideas about what could make it better, people who want to improve their collaboration and leadership skills, people who want to make new friends, and people looking for volunteer opportunities.
When and where does Teen Advisory meet? Meetings will generally be held in the Teen Room at 8:00 p.m. on the third or fourth Monday of each month during the school year. See below for our 2023-2024 meeting dates, as well as previous meeting agendas and minutes. Click each meeting date to register.
