Accessing e-Content and Digital Media
Below are links and brief descriptions for all of the e-Content services to which the Shrewsbury Public Library subscribes. To access some of these resources, you will need your library card and/or your library account password (sometimes referred to as your "PIN"). Tutorials on the usage of select services may be accessed by clicking on the "View tutorial" button in the resource description.

Creativebug, a division of JOANN™ Arts and Crafts, provides access to a vast collection of award-winning arts and crafts video classes taught by industry recognized artists and design experts. Your library membership allows you free access to thousands of sewing, fine art, and crafting classes to help you find your "creative happy place."
Freading is a new look at e-book lending. The e-books in their catalog will never be checked out, instead they are always available for download. Try the Freading app on your tablet!
Freegal offers download and streaming access to millions of songs, including many of Sony Music’s legendary artists. Shrewsbury Public Library patrons can download five MP3s per week, and also listen to up to five hours of streaming music every day!
Headspace is your personal guide to meditation and mindfulness. With hundreds of exercises for meditation, sleep, focus, and movement, it will help you start and end your day feeling like your best self. There are a limited number of Headspace licenses available every month; you may request one here.
Hoopla Digital provides online and mobile access to thousands of movies, TV shows, videos, music and audiobooks. With Hoopla Digital, patrons can borrow, instantly stream and download free dynamic content with a valid library card.
Kanopy is a video streaming service that provides instant access to thousands of critically acclaimed movies, documentaries, and kids favorites. You can stream Kanopy on any of your favorite devices! Kanopy is accessible via mobile and tablet apps for iPhone and Android. You can also access Kanopy on your Desktop, and SmartTV apps like Roku, Apple TV, and Fire Stick.
Libby (formerly Overdrive) is a source for popular e-books and e-audiobooks for Kindle and other devices. Download the Libby by OverDrive app for your iPhone or Android devices to view content. You may also access Libby by OverDrive via any web browser at libbyapp.com.
