Summer Reading for Kids, Teens, and Adults! 

Yes, adults get to win prizes for Summer Reading! You will track the days you read, doesn't matter how long you read, what you read, or how you read it. Reading the news on your phone? Listening to an aduiobook on your drive? Reading a magazine in the waiting room? They all count! Yes, sitting down and enjoying that physical book is wonderful too. Each day that you log your reading you will earn a badge and raffle ticket. In addition to tracking on Beanstack, we are also going to be doing Read and Bead in the Teen Room. For every hour that the teens read and track on Beanstack, they'll earn a bead. We will have beads worth 1 hour, 3 hours, 5 hours, and 10 hours. We'll have gummy bear beads, painted square beads, fuzzy beads, and cat donut beads, as well as some fun charms for teens to put their beads on!

Children

This summer, plant a seed and read at the library! Log the minutes you read to earn badges and rewards. As you read you will receive virtual badges and virtual raffle tickets. Collect and enter raffle tickets for chances to earn fun real life prizes! Raffle prizes are awarded each week and we'll top off the summer with three grand prize raffles! This summer we also invite you to build an awesome necklace as you read. Come to the Children's Room at the library starting June 29th to collect a brag tag and necklace. Then, earn beads to add to your necklace throughout the summer for the minutes you read and watch your necklace level up! Open to grades preK-4.
